Flashpoint Group was founded by Terry May, a successful entrepreneur in technology PR and marketing communications since 1991. With 20+ years of experience positioning and promoting high technology companies, Terry has extensive knowledge building PR, social media and marketing programs that meet the unique requirements of brand-name and emerging start-up companies in the rapidly evolving markets of telecommunications, cable, mobile/wireless, enterprise IT, social media and consumer technology.

Prior to forming Flashpoint Group in 2010, Terry was a VP and co-owner of a boutique tech PR firm, director at Weber Shandwick and an account manager at The Neva Group (a PR firm that focused on early stage technology startup companies in the Boston area). She started her career doing PR and marketing on the vendor side of the business for several technology companies and has a keen understanding of both corporate and agency PR and marketing communications needs.

Terry has counseled clients through private and public financing, strategic partnerships, company and product launches, IPOs and mergers and acquisitions. Her experience has resulted in high-profile local, national and international business and trade coverage, awards and speaking engagements for her clients.
